Batch processing: working with URL lists

If you need to process a significant amount of URLs, you can use the BackStreet Browser batch processing feature, that is to import a text file containing the list of URLs to process (one URL per line). BackStreet Browser then will create a separate project for each URL from the list.

To import the URLs list use the main menu item Files\Import URLs list and select your file in the appeared dialog. After that the Project properties dialog will appear. Here you should set the parameters that then will be used for each created project. The properties dialog is almost the same as usually (for a manually created project), but the fields "URL" and "Title" are not available. In the field "Folder" specify the output folder. For each project a separate subfolder will be created in this folder; the names of the subfolders will correspond the names of the URLs.

Note that download will not start automatically after the projects creation. Use the button "Start" in the toolbar to start the download process.
