Using File Manager

Please Note: This page offers an overview of the ClikView File Management features. For complete instructions on using these features, please refer to the How Do I? - Move/Copy/Delete Files section.

ClikView is identical in apperance and functions to Windows Explorer. ClikView allows you to move, copy, rename, and delete files. The major difference between Windows Explorer and ClikView is that when you left-click on any individual file, that file will be opened into a Viewer/Editing window directly within the ClikView program. You can assign any file extension to specific types of Viewing/Editing windows (Text, Browser, Graphic, Source Code, Binary/Hex, or Word or Excel Viewers).

The standard File Manager right-click options available in Windows Explorer are fully functional when using ClikView.

One of the great features in the ClikView File Manager system is the ability to display Split Screens by "View - Double Panel" menu commad. This is similar to opening multiple instances of Windows Explorer - except in ClikView, both File Manager windows open in the same screen - one above the other.  This allows you to quickly manager your files when working with different drives or directories.  The ClikView File Manager system fully supports Windows networks giving you access to your local drives along with all network drives.
